INTIMATE DEATH
Death. Can we approach this subject simply? Are we as free to talk about it as we are about all the other life transitions we go through? This project explores the immaterial, transpersonal experience of death.
That brief moment when we cast a last glance at the humanity around us, before disappearing. With its intimate process of transformation, the physical body returns to the earth, and the infinitesimal parts of our being revert into elements. This crossing over for the deceased is also a journey for those who remain. An absence that overwhelms and arouses the desire to curl up or flee ardently.
What remains after, beyond physical death?
How do we choose to die?
